The « Trophée des Petits Champions 2024 »
Like every years in april, Briançon, Gap and Orcières Merlette 1850 welcome the biggest under-age ice-hockey gathering in Europe: The Bauer Little Champions Tournament.
This event has the characteristic of being play at 3 against 3 in the third of the ice-rink and support in this way the actions, the technical play and give to the young ice-hockey-players the occasion to measure themselves face to face with many opponents come from Europe.

Tournament rules :
● Teams of 7 players minimum and 10 maximum (goalie(s) included)
● Arena divided in 3 games areas, 3 games take place simultaneously.
● Games: 3 vs 3 (+ the goalie).
● U9 (2015, 2016, 2017) to Briançon.
● U11 (2013, 2014) play to Orcières Merlette.
● U13 (2011, 2012) play to Gap.
● Switch lines every 1.30 min.
● A game lasts 21 minutes.
● Penalty shot replace the 2 min penalty.
Cost of inscription :
Must be sent before the 20th of December 2023 :
Registration fees: 100 € per team (After delivery a confirmation will be sent to you).
Must be sent before the 30th of January 2024 : Registration fees for Meals and Accommodation
● Option with Meals included:
40 € per player and attendant. (including Friday’s dinner, Saturday’s lunch and dinner and Sunday’s lunch).
● Option with Meals and Accommodation included:
– If your journey is less than 1000 kilometers round trip: 92 € per player and per attendant.
– If your journey is more than 1000 kilometers round trip: 77 € per player and 92 € per attendant.
The registration fees include:
• 4 meals per person (Friday’s dinner, Saturday’s lunch and dinner, Sunday’s lunch)
• 2 nights per person (Friday/Saturday and Saturday/Sunday).
• 2 breakfasts per person (Saturday and Sunday morning).
• 3 snacks per person (Friday, Saturday, Sunday in the afternoon).
NB : In Briançon the team’s accommodation is in collective centers or in hotels- in Orçières-Merlette 1850 the team’s accommodation is in apartments (4-6 or 8 persons) or in collective centers; a 500 € deposit per apartment will be needed (it has to be given to the agency when they give you the keys). It will be given back to you after the tournament if the apartment is left clean and without any deterioration. In Gap the team’s accommodation is in collective centers or in hotels.The teams which wish to arrive one night before will have to pay an extra night (in this case, please contact us).
During the opening ceremony, each player will be given a tournament souvenir. Everyone of them are rewarded: medals or trophies.

Friday 19th April 2024 :
From 10h00 : reception of the teams at the ice-rinks of Briançon, Orcières 1850 and Gap.
12h30 : Beginning of the tournament.
17h05 : Openning ceremony.
17h50 : Coming back to the games. 22h15 : end of the fisrt day.
22h30 : End of the first day.
Saturday 20th April 2024 :
8h00 : Beginning of the second day.
21h45: End of the second day.
Sunday 21th April 2024 :
7h45 : beginning of the third day.
15h00 : Final stages.
18h15 : Awards ceremony.

Informations :
166 clubs (99 french clubs and 72 foreigners clubs) have taken part at The « Trophée Bauer des Petits Champions » since 1991.
This tournament is still the biggest under-age ice-hockey gathering in Europe.
The event has seen several players become international players and even some NHL players (as Ilya Kovalchuk and much more).
